What is a Mei Tai?

A Mei Tai is a traditional baby sling used in Asia to carry babies and children up to 3 years old. The basic design consists of a square piece of fabric with straps at each corner.

Mei tai are also known as ABC ( Asian Back Carriers ) or Soft Carriers.

Here at Sling Jax Baby Slings you will find several modern versions of the traditional Mei Tai, together with ring slings, pouches, wraps and soft structured carriers.
